Why should you enroll in HOAG’s Leadership Lab?

HOAG Leadership Lab is now coming to major Indian cities, opening doors for more students to experience a new model of leadership development close to home.

At its core, the Lab equips young students with skills like resilience, self-awareness, and analytical thinking, skills that will shape their growth and prepare them for the opportunities and challenges of the future.

  • Age & Grade Qualifications
    • Ages 11 years to 17 years
    • Grades 6th to 12th
    • Minimum 70% marks required in the most recent academic year
    • Original educational documents are mandatory for verification
    • Any forged or fake documentation will result in disqualification
    • Continuous education history is required
    • Any gaps in education must be formally explained and justified
    • Specificity of the domain is not allowed
    • Minimum B1 level proficiency in English
    • Candidate must be able to demonstrate:
      • Basic English communication skills
      • Ability to understand English instructions
      • Capability to follow English-medium training sessions
    • 8 hours of daily attendance is mandatory
    • Full participation is required throughout the program duration
    Day 1: The Leadership Adventure Begins
    Day 1
    • Kick off with The Lost Dutchman’s Gold Mine (LDGM), an energetic business simulation adventure.
    • Experience the value of teamwork, trust, planning, risk-taking, and cross-team collaboration.
    • Apply lessons from LDGM to real-world leadership and workplace behaviors in a safe, hands-on setting.
    • Continue with the SimuRise Experiential Learning Workshop, featuring:
      • Colourful Necklace: Practice collaboration and coordination.
      • Boxed In: Unlock creative problem-solving under constraints.
      • Taller Stack: Build teamwork, agility, and decision-making.
    • Engage in Learn by Doing exercises that develop communication, agility, innovation, and decision-making.
    • Reflect on experiences to build insights and skills for confident leadership.

    Day 2

    • Begin with the Square Wheels® session, building on lessons from Day 1.
    • Explore the wagon-with-square-wheels metaphor to identify challenges and uncover hidden opportunities.
    • Engage in visual, thought-provoking exercises on productivity, focus, and continuous improvement.
    • Deepen learning through SimuRise experiential activities, including:
      • Blind Statues: Strengthen communication and trust.
      • Water Tower: Practice strategy, focus, and resource management.
      • Spinning Your Web: Foster collaboration and innovative thinking
    • Turn insights into practical strategies for personal and team growth.
    • Reflect and apply lessons to enhance leadership, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
    Required Documents
    • Latest academic year mark sheets showing 70% or higher marks
    • Original educational certificates for verification
    • Written explanation for any gaps in education (if applicable)
    • Certificate of completion will only be issued upon verification of all original documents
    • False documentation will lead to immediate disqualification
    • English proficiency is non-negotiable as all training is conducted in English
    • Daily 8-hour commitment is mandatory with no exceptions

    The program is 100% in-person and offline, with facilitator-led sessions and support.
