Why AI Capability Matters Now More Than Ever
Artificial Intelligence is becoming a foundational layer across industries, from healthcare and finance to design, entrepreneurship, engineering, and research. By the time today’s students enter universities and workplaces, the ability to work effectively with AI will no longer be a specialised advantage. It will be an expected capability.
The Certificate Program in Applied Artificial Intelligence has been designed to help students move beyond passive AI usage and develop a deeper understanding of how intelligent systems function, how they make decisions, and how they can be applied to solve real-world problems.
Through structured learning, guided projects, expert mentorship, and exposure to real AI infrastructure, students develop both technical confidence and future-ready thinking skills that extend far beyond the classroom.

What Makes This Program Different?
Learn Inside a Real AI Ecosystem
Students gain access to the Ojas High Performance Computing (HPC) environment hosted at BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus, with exposure to the infrastructure, workflows, and systems used to train, test, and deploy modern AI applications. Select modules are supported by faculty and experts from the BITS BioCyTiH Foundation ecosystem.
Learn Beyond the Classroom
Learning continues long after the program ends. Students receive 12-month access to the learning infrastructure, allowing them to experiment, refine projects, and deepen their understanding of AI at their own pace while building lasting confidence with emerging technologies.
Build, Showcase & Get Recognised
Students progressively build a portfolio of AI-powered projects, culminating in a final capstone application that can be deployed and showcased. Throughout the program, they earn milestone-based certifications from BITS BioCyTiH Foundation and HOAG
Learn by Building
Students actively create AI models, conversational assistants, automation workflows, and real-world applications. Every concept is reinforced through hands-on implementation rather than passive content consumption.
Learn Within a Structured Support System
The program follows a mentor-supported learning model with small cohorts, guided build sessions, interactive workshops, and personalised support. Students learn not only what to build, but also why systems work the way they do.
Develop Future-Ready Thinking
Beyond technical exposure, students strengthen critical thinking, structured reasoning, problem-solving, creativity, communication, and confidence with emerging technologies.
AI is changing every
profession.
And this is only
the beginning.
